Library Hours Changed
From now on the Law Library will be open as follows:
- Monday 9-4
- Tuesday 9-1*
- Wednesday 9-4
- Thursday 9-4
- Friday 9-1
The Law Library will now be CLOSED during lunch (1-2) Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
*Attorneys/Judges may still access the Law Library during off hours by giving their ID to the Clerk of Court-Civil office in exchange for the key.
Dues updated for 2010
Dues for the New Hanover County Bar Association should be paid by July 15.

Our Objectives
Our objectives are:
To promote a closer union and fellowship among the practicing lawyers of New Hanover County;
To maintain, promote and implement the ethics of the profession;
To facilitate the trial of actions;
To extend and further the principles of justice;
To assist the judges holding courts in New Hanover County and expedite the business of the courts;
To inform the public on the work of the legal profession and the courts;
To provide continuing education of members of the Bar; and
To improve the standards of service of the Bar to the public.
